Today was a beautiful sunny day, something we haven't seen much this week. We made a trek to the border to enjoy a fun day with my cousin Tori (without traffic, it is an hour drive for each of us to the border). We met at the outlets right at the border of IL and WI. We went to lunch and then off to the main event, The Jelly Belly Factory. For those of you in the area, they offer free factory tours. It is a 30 minute tour which you ride on a train of sorts and learn how they make Jelly Belly's. We had to wait quite a while but the kids had fun being on the train and wearing the hats. Then at the end, you get a free bag of Jelly Belly's and you can go sample anything they sell. Collin and Shawn both tried toothpaste jelly belly's. Collin said he really liked it but I don't know if I want that flavor in a jelly bean. It was great to spend time with Tori and eat Jelly Belly's.
